Pacific Group, discussed his 25-plus years of
experience in the China market. Tse also spoke at

UPS’s growing business in China was the topic of
Richard Camejo’s presentation that looked at the role of
transportation in conducting trade with China.
Camejo is the company’s vice president of international
air operations and cargo sales.

Stewart Ballard, Chief Commercial Consul
at the American Consulate General in Hong Kong,
described the advantages of using Hong Kong
as a gateway to doing business in China.

Dr. Yong Cao, professor of marketing at the
University of Alaska, Anchorage explained the regional
differences found in China and the importance
of taking that into account when setting up
or conducting business.

The keynote speaker was Yongpu Wang, the
Commercial Consul at the Chinese Consulate
General in San Francisco. Before a sold-out
luncheon audience, Wang spoke
about the important economic and trade
ties between the U.S. and China.

deputy head of investment recommendations for
UBS Financial Services, outlined China’s
rise to economic prominence and its impact
on commodities and currencies.
