Dear Members and Friends of the Center:

The numbers speak for themselves. Exports from Alaska to China have grown dramatically from $100 million in 2001 to more than $700 million last year. Alaskan firms that supply goods and services to China are enjoying significant success. Is your company or organization one of these? Are you interested in finding out more about China and potential business opportunities?

On December 11, 2008, the
4th Alaska- China Business Conference took place at the Anchorage Marriott Downtown Hotel. It was brought to you by World Trade Center Alaska, the State of Alaska, and the U.S. Commercial Service. The conference featured presentations by Chinese and U.S. government officials, private sector executives already doing business in China, and a number of other speakers that helped Alaskan audience to better understand the opportunities, challenges and resources available to explore or initiate trade with China.
