The Trade
is Transportation Seminar
"Alaska Transportation and Logistics
Update" |
On Wednesday, 7 November 2007,
World Trade Center Alaska held
The Trade is Transportation
Seminar at the Hilton Anchorage Hotel. This
special event featured 12 speakers
representing some of the state’s major
transportation infrastructure facilities as
well as representatives of transportation
and logistics firms. In addition,
presentations were also made by
organizations involved with development of
Alaska’s transportation capacity.
As a state
that relies on exports for a significant portion
of its overall economy, the ability to
efficiently ship goods around the state and
around the world is of great importance to both
current export operations and to the viability
of potential new projects that will generate
export activities.
