2001-2005 Strategic Objectives

The following strategic objectives were adopted by the World Trade Center Alaska Board of Directors in January 2001:

  • Continue development of strategic alliances.
  • Identify a permanent facility supporting the mission/vision.
  • Optimize harmonious relationships with all strategic partners.
  • Continue developing a financially self-sustaining organization.
  • Assure healthy, growing membership level.
  • Visible, reputable, private sector organization supporting Alaskan international trade.

Vision:  The vision of World Trade Center Alaska is to develop and maintain a prestigious international reputation and growing membership of Alaskan businesses with increasingly influential and profitable trade                   relationships.                                 

Goals

  • Alaska becomes an internationally recognized and respected seaFOOD industry leader.
  • Alaska becomes a growing FOOD exporter.
  • Alaska becomes a more healthy and prosperous international cargo hub, distribution and logistics center.
  • Alaska becomes a more highly used Pacific Rim location for international tradeshows and conferences.
  • Alaska's natural resources, products and services are consistently increased abroad.
