Nearly 600 Alaskans filled
the ballroom of the Hilton Anchorage Hotel on February 23, 2006 to hear a
major address by United States Senator Lisa Murkowski. Senator Murkowski reported on her
recent trip to Asia where she met with government officials in Japan, Korea and China,
Alaskas top three trading partners. Her talk covered foreign policy, including the
status of the six-party talks concerning North Koreas nuclear program, as well as
trade issues between the United States and countries in this important region. World Trade
Center Alaska was honored that Senator Murkowski chose our luncheon event to present this
important address to Alaskans.

A sold-out audience of nearly 600 business and government leaders

Canada and Seattle to hear her speech.
