Business of SeaFOOD Nominees are:

John Lowrance, Leader Creek Fisheries - Increased quality by bringing together a 50-boat fleet of strictly refrigerated (RSW) boats.

Torunn Knoph, Trident Seafoods - Increased the sales of Alaska seafood and diversified the mix into Europe. Contributed to record sales of US exported whitefish to Europe last year.

Ray Wadsworth, TBRS Technologies - Increased quality by development of a pin bone machine designed to increase value and quality.

Greg Neitzel, Trident Seafoods Corporation - Developed an American pollock roe technician program and planned and conducted the first pollock roe auction in America.

Bill Webber, Copper River Salmon Producers Association - Created the Copper River Quality Handling System for fishermen and processors.

Alaska Shellfish Growers Association - Created and advocated for a new industry.

Lanie Welch; Educating the seafood industry about global markets.
