Dear Members and Friends of the Center:
Welcome to a special edition of Trade-Line, the periodic
e-newsletter of World Trade Center Alaska (WTCAK).
I want to be sure that you are aware of a major
event that will take place exactly seven days from today. To be frank,
depending upon when you are reading this message, it may be too late to register. However,
in case there are still a few seats left, I want to extend an invitation for you to take
part in this important, much anticipated, event. But let me stress, I need you
to act today. Nearly 400 people have already registered!
Some people are traveling to Anchorage from as far as Seattle and Canada just to attend
this event. As I write this, the phone is ringing and seating is limited.
Exactly one week from today, on Thursday 23 February
2006, just a few minutes after 12 Noon, United States Senator Lisa
Murkowski will present a major address to Alaskans at a Special Luncheon Event of
WTCAK. The luncheon takes place in the Alaska Ballroom of the Hilton Anchorage
Hotel. Of course, we want everyone who would like to attend to be able to do
so, but the reality is that within hours of this announcement we may have to stop
accepting reservations.
Read on for more details about the
luncheon but I urge you to make
your reservations now. I look forward to seeing you on the 23rd.
Best Regards,
Greg Wolf
Executive Director
